Yōkoso ようこそ to the new Japan Business Council in Europe website!
Created in 1999, the Japan Business Council in Europe (JBCE) is a leading European organisation representing 90 multinational companies of Japanese parentage active in Europe.
Members operate across various sectors, including information and communication technology, electronics, chemicals, automotive, machinery, wholesale trade, precision instruments, pharmaceutical, steel, textiles and glass products.
Building a new era of cooperation between the European Union (EU) and Japan is the core of the JBCE activities. The Japanese organisation performs under several committees focusing on: Corporate Policy, Corporate Social Responsibility, Digital Innovation, Environment & Energy, Standards and Conformity, and Trade.
In addition to well-structured information on JBCE and members, the website allows users to consult through an easy-to-use selector many positions and news ranked in content' categories dealt with by the various committees.
The latest JBCE annual report is available for download from the homepage.
For companies interested in becoming a member of the JBCE, the membership section presents the benefits they can acquire from their participation and the documents relevant for the registration process.
The new website facilitates connection to social networks where the JBCE is active and sharing content on your social media channels. The website exists in two language versions: English and Japanese, and it also contains a section reserved for members.
The JBCE website results from close collaboration between the JBCE team and the #pageinextremis agency digital unit.
One of the main challenges for our creative direction was to reconcile an aesthetic approach bringing together different visual cultures keeping the good energetic vibes of each of them.
#pageinextremis creates major web-based communications projects for many well-known international institutions and associations.
Our online projects set the standard for digital communications in the European public affairs space.
