Migration and reintegration are complex policy areas that require precise communication. The Technical Working Group on Reintegration & Development (TWG R&D) was created to align reintegration efforts with broader development strategies, ensuring coherence across European Member States.

At #inextremis, we took the highly technical content generated by migration and development experts and presented it in a structured, accessible, and user-friendly format.

A comprehensive digital resource for migration and development

The TWG R&D provides migration experts and development practitioners a platform to exchange knowledge and improve reintegration strategies. The challenge was transforming a body of policy-heavy information into a straightforward, logical, and efficient digital resource that professionals could easily navigate.

Our objective was to enhance the accessibility of this wealth of expertise by structuring the information to facilitate understanding. Working closely with the RRF communication team, we designed an informative webpage that systematically presents key initiatives, findings, and methodologies.

The result is a resource that enables users to locate relevant information efficiently and apply insights to their respective fields.

The Return and Reintegration Facility (RRF), funded by the European Commission (DG HOME) and implemented by ICMPD, supports European Member States and Schengen Associated Countries (MS) in strengthening their return and reintegration programmes.

The RRF bridges gaps between existing initiatives, providing operational and financial support to develop solutions with EU-wide relevance. At the same time, it facilitates the implementation of the EU Strategy on Voluntary Return and Reintegration.
