A two-camera video shoot in the #inextremis studio: a spokesperson to camera with crew, lighting and monitors around him

VIDEO

Use movement, voice and explanation where static communication cannot do the whole job.

Video earns its place when movement, voice or demonstration can do a specific communication job better than static content alone. We connect purpose, concept, script, art direction and production around that role — whether the complete assignment is one focused film or the video forms part of a wider campaign, launch or event.

When video is the right tool

  • 01

Explain a complex issue, standard, service or change.

  • 02

Introduce a new identity or name through leadership, staff or stakeholder voices.

  • 03

Create anticipation, live relevance or continuity around an event.

  • 04

Give a European campaign a recognisable and shareable narrative asset.

  • 05

Turn expert interviews or member contributions into useful channel-ready content.

What the assignment can connect

The scope follows the communication job to be done. We connect only the disciplines that materially improve the outcome.

Communication purpose · Concept · Script · Storyboard · Interview structure · Art direction · Production · Animation where relevant · Editing · Channel-ready delivery · Integration with the wider campaign or content system

Evidence already available

APPLiA used staff interviews, a launch film and a wrap film within its new-name and identity launch. EDANA and LightingEurope used video and animation within European campaigns. GS1 Healthcare used an animated explainer to introduce a new standard for investigational products.

Council of Europe — People First

Context: Produced for the Council of Europe’s Department of Social Rights within a communication-services framework contract covering awareness raising around social and economic rights.

#inextremis contribution: Concept, design and production of the People First film in close cooperation with the Council of Europe team.

Visible proof: The completed film is available for embedding or for the selection of stills in the website’s visual case-study system.

What this proves: A focused video assignment can combine institutional substance, human accessibility and production discipline without requiring a wider agency programme.

What this also demonstrates: a focused assignment can still receive senior framing, connected creative thinking and disciplined delivery.

What does your audience need to understand, feel or do after watching?

Bring us the communication task before deciding the format. We will help determine the role, scope and production route the film actually needs.
